Dr Reina Yang, BDSc (Hons), graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours and was awarded the prestigious Melbourne University National Scholarship. During her studies, she was the Vice President of the Melbourne Dental Students Society. Reina grew up in the Box Hill/Surrey Hills area and is excited to be able to service the community in which she spent so much of her childhood.
Reina is extremely passionate about patient-centred care, with particular emphasis on patients with high anxiety and dental phobias. Her main priority is to listen to the individual needs of her patients to help overcome their specific dental fears and she firmly believes in making the experience as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Working with children is another one of Reina’s passions. She loves making a child’s dental visit memorable and fun. There is nothing more rewarding to her than to see children develop good oral hygiene habits early on in life.
Reina takes pride in helping patients achieve a healthy & confident smile and has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry. She has completed the 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry with the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners under one of the leading world-renowned specialists, which has given her the framework to deliver high-quality dentistry for her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Reina loves travelling to different parts of the world and gaining new perspectives and experiences. She enjoys keeping fit with dancing and cycling, and loves exploring parks with her daughter Isla.
